AFTER CARE INSTRUCTIONS
1. First 24 hours:
Tap lips with saline wipes every hour after the procedure until you wash your lips that night to remove lymph fluid.
2. Clean lips twice daily:
For the first two weeks, clean your lips morning and night with the supplied soap to keep the area sanitized.
3. Moisturize:
Apply the supplied moisturizer after each cleaning and whenever your lips feel dry. Make sure to keep your lips hydrated throughout the healing process.
4. Avoid picking or scratching:
Let the lips heal naturally. Scabbing or flaking is normal, and picking at it can lead to scarring or pigment loss.
5. No water exposure:
Avoid swimming, hot tubs, or saunas for at least 10 days post-procedure. Don’t let your lips soak in water.
6. Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds:
Protect your lips from direct sun for 30 days after the procedure. Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen once healed.
7. No smoking or drinking through a straw:
Avoid smoking and drinking through a straw for the first 7 days to prevent irritation and pigment loss.
8. Don’t apply makeup on the lips:
Refrain from using lipstick, gloss, or lip liner for the first week.
9. Avoid spicy, hot, or acidic foods:

BEFORE SESSION INSTRUCTIONS

You may fill in your lips as usual before your appointment to give us an idea of your preferred shape and color.
Plan any vacations at least 14 days after your lip blush procedure to allow for proper healing.
Avoid blood-thinning medications (e.g., Vitamin E, aspirin, niacin, fish oil supplements, and ibuprofen) for at least 72 hours before your appointment; one week is preferred.
Do not drink alcohol the night before or the day of your appointment, and limit caffeine intake.
Avoid sun and tanning bed exposure for 30 days before and after your procedure. If you arrive with a fresh tan or sunburn, your appointment will need to be rescheduled, and you will forfeit your deposit due to pigment loss during skin exfoliation.
